Learn how to paint a beautiful painting in chibi style inspired by Aisha's father in the TV show Uchi Za Aisha (1986-1987). As seen in the video and shown below, you will need the following: This is a chibi version of Art Attack, which was a BBC television programme that premiered on 8 February 1990. The show was presented by Neil Buchanan and co-presented by Tim Lihoreau. The two presenters introduced viewers to techniques such as collage, oil painting, charcoal drawing and sculpture. In this art lesson, you will use the same technique as the duo used in the show: watercolour. The only difference is that we will use chibi styles and you can even print out your creation so you can post it online and share it with friends and family. You will need: For this activity, watch and follow along with the chibi style painting tutorial videos to get the best result. Also, your drawing will be shown on camera via webcam so you can get a sense of how your work looks like on video. The show was based on the story of Ugwumba, a little girl who was raised by her Uncle in Kampala, Uganda. The girl's uncle inspired her to paint which would later be featured in the TV show.. The idea of the show came from the director, but the inspiration came from Aisha who played Ugwumba.
